I have a filament that is a perfect color match for something I sell. It’s quite brittle for some reason and breaks regularly in my AMS, meaning I have to take it apart to clear the block.
I saw with the AMS 2 that the area to do that is now exposed… which gave me an idea.
Cut a hole in the correct area and put a surround around it to tidy it up and it’s done :)
Reorganised my “workshop” room in preparation for the H2D. I’ll shift the A1 Mini when the time comes and it can go there.
I’ll 3D print a vent adaptor to mix it with my other laser cutter air extraction.
Done! There was a delay because I needed to run and eat a pomelo.

Picked up the Bambu H2D with the 40W laser module and new AMS.
I had £500 of vouchers from uploaded models and with Etsy going as it is I can justify it as a business expense.
While I'm waiting for that to pass review, I added a smooth pei (not supertack) bed to my #bambu basket. Didn't check it out, obviously.
Got an email today "reminding" me that I'd left some goods in my basket and I should finish checking it out...
Tickled me, it did.
Finally got enough points to redeem a gift card for the #Bambu store, hit the button and was told it'd take a few days to review.

#3DBenchy in 9 minutes (pure printing time without the preparations the printer does at the beginning)? Well, I guess that's why they call the speed "ludicrous." Also probably because of #Spaceballs
The Bambu Lab Academy courses are useful. I have an X1C and most of the material was still helpful even though it was targeted towards A1 Mini users. If you don't have a Bambu, the intermediate courses contained useful general 3D printing knowledge.
I got tired of all of the cables kicking around the junk drawer so I designed and 3D printed a bin to hold them.

Depressed that I'm gonna have to send my #bambu cool plate supertack back.
When it actually stuck, the finish was glorious, but it's simply not reliable even with scrubbing it clean with hot soapy water, leveling it, and adding hefty brims.
Any recommendations for a smooth plate for pla, silk pla and occasional petg, for a p1s? #3dprinting

Any of you folks use Bentobox with your Bambu/Other Printers? Have you noticed any significant difference in air quality and/or VOCs? I don't print ABS/ASA, (just pla/petg) but I am semi-sensitive to PETG fumes so I am curious if it has made any difference for anyone else out there.

With the "4.1-pre" pre-release, the open source slicer Kiri:Moto (which also do CAM and laser) is now capable of controlling your Bambu printer without using any proprietary and closed binaries.

Does anyone have recommendations for online stores (in or that sell to the USA) for good quality PLA 3D printer filament? I had been buying exclusively from #bambu but am looking for an alternative vendor.
Being compatible with guest checkouts (the really fast ones via Apple Pay) is a big plus.
