@ladyinaafoose I found an article from yesterday pointing to DNA evidence identifying the killer.

But there were also articles going back to 2019 making the same DNA claim. Maybe more advanced technology has increased their confidence in test results.

@analogfusion They allegedly took sperm DNA that was found on the shawl of the 4th victim, Catherine Eddowes. It was said to have been a 99.2% match on the first attempt from 2014. They tested a second time and then it was 100% that the killer was the barber Aaron Kosminski.

@ladyinaafoose I guess it makes sense that they could get more reliable results later on. 100% is a pretty definitive number!
