Love Your Inner Geek<p>Yet another moment of nostalgic listening today. The Weiner Hungarian Folk Dance Suite is not as slight as the title suggests. Sure it’s tuneful and pleasant, but there’s plenty of substance. And this performance raises the roof from the very start; the horns are magnificent. Indeed, they also take wing near to the end, which is as exciting as hell! Love Your Inner Geek<p>Another old favourite revisited on the dog walk this morning. Malcolm Arnold’s Dances just never get dull and the Philharmonia sounds resplendent in this version.
